VR-7 XW bariatric intensive-care bed now available

The VR-7 XW brings the VR-7’s controls to a 1,000 mm platform with a safe working load of 320 kg.

The VR-7 XW, Van Roon’s bariatric intensive-care bed, is available to order in the UK and Ireland from today.

It has the VR-7’s footboard panel, side rail controls and emergency functions on a stronger frame with a 1,000 mm platform that narrows to 900 mm for transport, a safe working load of 320 kg and 150 mm castors. A powered drive-assist wheel is available as an option.

The first VR-7 XW beds in the UK were installed on two intensive-care units in September for evaluation. Demonstration beds are available through account managers.
