VR-3 service support ends on 31 March 2024

We will stop servicing VR-3 beds on 31 March 2024, as spare controllers are no longer available.

Van Roon will stop servicing VR-3 beds on 31 March 2024. The VR-3 was made from 1991 to 2006, and the last repairable controllers in our exchange pool have now been used.

We have written to every hospital that still has VR-3 beds on our records. From 1 April we will no longer carry out planned maintenance or repairs on them, and parts will be supplied only while stocks last. Customer information notice CI-UK-2024-01 has the details.

Hospitals replacing VR-3 beds with VR-series beds can return them to us for recycling at no charge.
